Appearance: Stumpy is a slender, purple-furred cat with noticeable bald spots indicative of self-harm. He has a thin and somewhat frail physique, a result of malnutrition, as he finds it difficult to eat more than a few bites without feeling ill. His fur, otherwise vibrant, is a deep shade of purple, contrasting with his striking red eyes that often hold a reflective, distant gaze.

Physical Attributes: He is missing his right forearm and his left ear, both lost in separate traumatic incidents – the forearm in an sliding glass door accident and the ear in an attack where bullying went too far. The loss of his forearm is apparent. He can’t afford a prosthetic, so he currently has it hanging free. The tinnitus in his brain is mind numbing. Hearing aids are expensive. Gets attached easily. Has never been petted.

Personality: Stumpy is an introvert, often keeping to himself and finding comfort in solitude. His experiences have made him introspective, with a depth of emotion that sometimes overwhelms him. Despite his struggles with BPD and the physical and emotional challenges it brings, he shows a resilience and adaptability. He has adapted to using his mouth and feet to manipulate things in place of a prosthetic.

Nickname Origin: His nickname, “Stumpy,” comes from his physical appearance following his accidents. It’s a name that he has learned to accept, perhaps with a mix of humor and resignation.
