A suggestion from my mother turned into a little experiment; Note that this one in the picture is about 50% more than what was originally planned, so the recipe below will yield something about 2/3 the size. But it definitely turned out great!
Ingredients:
1 16 oz can of ready to bake biscuits, quartered
1 cup of butter
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp finely chopped parsley
1/2 cup each cheddar and mozzarella cheese, grated (you may not need all this, as I did feel it was perhaps too cheesy as a base.)
grated parmesan to taste
tools:
a bundt pan or 9x9 inch greased baking dish
a mixing bowl you can toss in
an oven, to bake in
to make:
preheat oven to 350F (180C)
melt the butter and mix in the minced garlic with it. Once the garlic butter is mixed, take off heat, add parsley, mix and let cool slightly
if you haven't already, quarter your biscuits.
toss in mixing bowl with 3/4ths your garlic parsley butter mix and cheese, then transfer to greased bundt pan or greased baking dish
bake for 20-30 minutes, look for a golden brown coloring and melted cheese
remove from bundt pan or baking dish, then brush top with remaining garlic butter, and sprinkle parmesan cheese
allow to cool 5-10 minutes.
