So as mentioned in another picture, I've actually read "The Sword in the Stone." Imagine my surprise to find out that MADAME MIM IS NOT A CHARACTER IN THE BOOK! (No really, that was one of the things I was looking for. As best as I can figure, Mim is a most likely a combination of Morgan Le Fey, who does appear in the book as the "Queen of the Faries," and Nimue, the woman who eventually imprisoned, or maybe gave a "retirement" to Merlyn.) The funny thing is, I've seen the movie quite a lot when I was a kid, but didn't know that the book was sitting on my mom's bookshelf this whole time and I only discovered it 2 years ago!

Of course, since when has Disney EVER paid any attention to Source Material? Never!

Needless to say, it would appear that a certain magical creature didn't like being snubbed out of her chance at Show Biz.
