Fun Fact: Espra wasn't pulled out my ass. When I was in college I had an idea for a vague scene that required a story to get to it. Rather than write it as a fanfiction ending to an existing story like Legend of Zelda or the like I decided to write and original story to get there. In fact I wrote three and none of them actually got that scene lol.

One of the stories I called "Dynloringarde", and when I had initially planned three big arcs to the story one of the places the protagonist would end up visiting would be a place called 'Espra', a kingdom that from the outside seems to all be about bussinesses and trades work and import/exports, but when you look deeper is has a dark underbelly of unrully and morally corrupt trades right down to human trafficking, slave trades, drugs, kidnapping, etc. making it an open secret that the place is just as dangerous as it is a financial paradise.

Whenever I need a place with that vibe to it I tend to reuse 'Espra' as to me it will always translate to "that place"
