Cus real hairy just aren't that appealing O.o?
Also, there's something pure, unaltered and stately about anthro creatures that humans simply don't have. While they may "live" in the world we live in manner of factly, theres is a core to them that still seems uneffected by the dismal issues we all face on a regular basis. We also reflect our "furry" nature on them, being overly accepting of things, and think that they are also accepting of many things and so unlike humans are much more approachable in character.

Speak for yourself. I have met some very attractive "natural" girls. Girls are like guys when they let their body hair grow. Some of them are really hairy and some of them only have a little hair. I'm not saying I want to date Chewbaca but I don't mind a moderate amount of hair on a girl. I don't shave anything below my neck, why should I insist a woman do it?
Well, everyone has their tastes but I;m just saying, these "furry" gals would be chebacca to us. Its a natural trait to find disgust in fictional things as they become more real. I don't know what its called but its and actual subconcious mechinism to have some distaste for unnatural things as they become more lifelike. Robots, voice records, animated characters. Its a weird thing.
Anyway, just saying that if Furs were real, I seriously doubt theyd be as pleasing to the eye...don't know as clearly that won't ever happend but itd take a special individual to actually be attracted to a giant furry dog, in the real world. Just saying.
