Dongmei, or just Mei for short, is a rather strange being from long ago. She was killed in an ancient war by the very broken sword pierced through her face, along with many other victims. Their hatred for the war clung onto the sword, making it a cursed vessel with Dongmei, the most spiteful of souls taking control becoming a tangible, sentient, snow being.
Dongmei used to be (and still is) a polite and kind person, once a commoner's daughter who loves the snow. But behind the sweet facade deep inside her burns a vengeful and hateful person. Never cross nor do wrong in front of Dongmei, unless you want to be buried forever under a devastating avalanche.

FUN FACT! Dongmei's sword is broken up even more and chained together with ice links, which gives her more control over her malice.
