Takti'tu keeps his fur trimmed very short, as the scarring on his back makes it grow in weird and makes it all itchy and uncomfortable. When it was mentioned in his story that he paid the price for crossing the Ora'ida before, it was meant in the most violent of ways. This is why he wears long sleeve shirts.
