...<GASP!!!!!> What's this??!! Blaze...Blaze...Blaze made a snappy comment. Tsk...too bad Dim didn't realize that Blaze also leveled up before this match. If only he realized that Blaze used Agility to increase his speed. I think Dim is starting to show signs of exhaustion in this match.
Aww, would you look at that? Blaze learned so much from Dim that he's showing his appreciation by helping Dim get a good night's sleep. What better way to do that with a sleeper hold?...Okay okay, that is open for debate when there are several ways to knock someone out, especially in a wrestling match...
Oh I'm sorry, let's get back to the match. Dim may already be heading towards a restful vacation in the wonderful world of dreamland where...oh dear...Blaze is ready for more jokes.
Will Dim have victory in his sights or surrender to unconscious bliss?
Will Blaze be fired up to win this match or from a counter?
Will Dim and Blaze ever realize that they could've sold tickets for their match and actually made MONEY???!!!
Find out next time!
And we have Page 28 made by the wonderful, dedicated, and talented

I'll state this for any who are curious: Dragon Pulse was declared to never miss its target in "Pokémon: Legends of Arceus". However, Dragon Pulse did not have 100% accuracy before this game. In the Pokémon anime, Ash's Naganadel dodged Kukui's Lucario's Dragon Pulse at the very last second. I looked into several sources about Dragon Pulse before writing the script for these pages and went with what I wanted and worked in this comic.
As for what will happen next...you'll see.

When researching Dragon Pulse and Lucario, I noticed in the anime that Lucario usually has to focus when sensing another's aura. In Ash's battle against Kukui in the anime, Ash's Naganadel dodged Dragon Pulse from Kukui's Lucario. In a split second, Ash's Nagadel appeared right behind Kukui's Lucario, and Kukui's Lucario looked behind him in shock.
In this comic, Blaze was too fast for Dim to avoid that sleeper hold. I assumed it was plausible based on my research.

I hope you are enjoying this comic. ^^
For Dim, he was too slow against Blaze's increased speed and hadn't focused his aura in this moment. I haven't seen every episode of the Pokémon anime. I also haven't played every Pokémon video game. I only read one Pokémon manga book. I've noticed that some attacks and skills changed overtime in Pokémon games, though I do my best when researching Lucario and Cinderace for this comic. ^^

"Oh what's the matter, everything going...'Dim'? Be careful not to 'choke' on your aspirations!~ Is my sass 'taking your breath away'? Hey, if you want me to let go, just say something!~ Oh, how about this one? What do you get when you EF with Blaze? YOU GET WHAT YOU EFFING DESERVE! AAAHAHAHAAHAHAH!"
Aaaand here we have the "supervillain origin story" of Joker Blaze. :P
