Shadow Firefox Eclipsis Sketch
What is it about kitsunes looking good in the “Firefox” logo at the macro scale? |3 I dunno, but I have fun applying it to my namesake Eclipsis in this request for Patron Trizzy SkyChaser!
Done with mechanical pencil on white card stock paper.

I figured you'd do this at some point, although it looks like you're covering a lot more than the Firefox logo does. This is well drawn as usual and I like how the planet is distorting like it's a cartoon ball. It's yet another way of showing that nobody's coming to any harm.
And sorry that I haven't been commenting on your recent submissions I had to purge your backlog because it had gotten too big.

Thank you. I know I've said this before but it's always fun to think about the implications of each of your images. Knowing that everything is ultimately safe makes it a lot more fun to theorize about as well. And thanks for being OK with my lack of posts for awhile. I know you enjoy them but I suppose everyone needs a break every now and then.
Interestingly, the mid-early Godzilla movies were probably what inspired my preference for empty cities in such with I show character in them. In the Japanese productions, because they were usually characters in suits in scenes with boxes and such for environments, micros were usually not explicitly depicted. And I was too young to associate cut scenes as a way to indicate micros were supposed to be in those environments.
Fair enough, at least putting human characters into Kaiju films actually had a reason at that point. I really don't see the point of having Kaiju films that focus on human characters because that's not what most viewers of those films are there for. In a more wholesome example , I can't imagine many people watch the Sonic movies for the human characters in them.
I don't watch Kaiju films personally but in terms of aesthetic my favourite one is King Ghidorah [or should I say Queen Ghidorah ]😛 she would look so much better as a female.

Hahaha, very true. I know as I kid I mostly ignored more of the human scenes in Godzilla movies. I was watching for the Kaiju action!
Oh gosh, Ghidorah, Monster X. I really love its rendition in the newer American made movie. I feel like American movies capture Kaiju visuals so much better than the Japanese can.

Exactly. If I want to watch human characters I can watch almost any other movie.
That doesn't seem like it's a common opinion especially with all the Flack 1998 Zilla gets . By the way I see her as her own character, not Godzilla. And given that Zilla's a mutated iguana, i'm imagining that as an anthro she would be flavoured as a Latina given that most American iguanas seem to have Mexico as part of their native range.
If you ever draw Queen Ghidorah you could pull her off amazingly just like you can pull any character off.

I'd say Queen Ghidorah definitely deserves it . I'm also into mechanical macros myself as well because of how interesting they can be, So what about Mechagodzilla as well?
Do you have any good examples of good Queen Ghidorah content you want to show me? there's surprisingly little of her but what is there is is great!

Oh definitely not Mechagodzilla. Hahahah. I'm not much for machines. Protogens are like the perfect blend I like in mecha and gals.
I imagine you've seen these and they are what I think of: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54577149/

Fair enough, I do have quite wide tastes . Part of me being into machines is also about the sheer interest of how it would work differently. Cyborgs and mechanical macros can do things that organic ones can't and would flavour things differently in terms of what they can do. I think it's worth pursuing out of sheer interest alone even for someone who isn't into it.
As for Protogenes, I don't mind them but the species in general is really nothing special to me. They just don't hit the right balance for me.
I definitely have seen that person's Queen Ghidorah art although I noticed I didn't favourite that particular piece which I've now rectified. She looks dang good there and I like how she's using a collective pronoun to show that she has more than one mind.

Now I did definitely liked Zoids but the complexity of those is way too much to want to draw any of them. @.@ I especially liked the Shadow Fox, Lightning Saix, and Liger Zero Panzer.
Makes sense for Protogens! It's like for me they do hit that right balance because otherwise I'm pretty tough to please. >w>

I'm not a Power Rangers fan although I don't hate it. I just don't see much of it so I don't know what specific swords you're referring to. I do find the idea of Power Rangers and similar sentai shows quite interesting, not only because Power Rangers is a drama that uses Super Sentai footage but that sentai shows are essentially live action anime done right!
They're good translation of the format into live action unlike something like Dragon Ball Evolution which is an attempt to translate an anime directly into live action. Sentai shows are a different thing, because they're an adaptation of the genre itself rather than a single IP.
Different strokes for different folks, in terms of strokes of art.
