And so we get to my fav part of the year- the time when I get to look back and see how I did~
This was the second year I opened for commissions! I tried to take on a lot of different concepts and initiatives for this batch, and I think it shows with how EVERYWHERE things are haha. Pretty solid variety, if lacking a bit in focus! At least it shows my flexibility X3.
I took on a ton of teaching contracts this year ranging from Middle School Gym teacher, Highschool Maths and Sciences, Indigenous Grade 5/6 lead teacher, and so many more. I also started streaming more on Twitch in the fall and put in time to hone my usage of the platform as well as OBS. Looking back, it's incredible I even managed to get the art in when I did! The good news is that I finally organized all of my documents and hours so that I'm sitting very comfy on the pay grid where I live. It was a battle getting there (and I'm still owed retro pay! >:o) but we're there now haha. Can't wait to see what 2024 has in store~
I'm definitely starting to see my style emerging and I wonder if next year is the time when it will finally bloom....We'll have to see TOGETHER !
