Alas, finally get to introduce this new lil bean of the Snakey family. Say hello to Nurse Briar!
A lovely, sweet, motherly kind of Pikachu girl that works at the Pokemon Center. She is rather sleep-deprived, but well-meaning and can get a little sleepy here and there. She always has a lollipop on stand by to give to good patients, and can have quite the tingling spark from her cheeks. One thing she loves especially is to dress up and cosplay, especially dressing up all princess-like. You can imagine the misunderstandings when someone kidnaps Briar, thinking she's a legit princess.
Briar herself was conceived as a random nurse Pikachu girl I thought of, but I later grew to love her and decided she'd be a mainstay.
I named her after Briar Rose, the princess from Sleeping Beauty because, ay, it fits, dontcha think?
As for her cosplaying love, that mostly originated from a previous Pikachu OC I had for my SFW account: Bonita Bella Bolt, there's a couple doodles in the Briar folder. She was a Disney Princess-esque girl (mostly Cinderella) based on Pikachu Belle, but I haven't really doodled her in a long while and having ANOTHER Pikachu OC felt off to me. So why not, I'm just fusing the two together and making it a nurse that loves to dress up. Best of both worlds.
