“Well,… this is just great,… first I had to deal with a group of poachers, then, once I knock almost all of them out the last one manages to blind-side me and knocks me down a hole before running off,… and of course what is at the bottom of the hole? Quicksand! Naturally….
Hmm,… sides are too steep and slick to climb, and I’m sinking faster, if only I had a,…”
‘Ember!! Nyah! Catch the vine!!’
‘Carissa? I got it, thanks!’
“Always great to have some help from a friend, this vine definitely improves the situation, but I still need to hurry, I’m getting deep here, hopefully the vine holds.”

From the artist 391_Aji comes this lovely picture of Ember, in a familiar situation, gifted to me for Christmas by my friend Yuppi12 :D.
I always love seeing Ember in a new artist’s style, and she looks really good in this style. The softness of the image and the colors gives a great feeling of warmth and life to the picture, while almost giving the impression of the slight haze of jungle humidity. The subtle sheen on her skin and hair accents the shading very nicely, and gives the impression that she’s at the bottom of a hole, and not in direct light. Her posing, depth and the look of the surface of the quicksand give a great sense of her sinking deeper as she struggles to get free, while hanging onto the vine from above. The detailing on her leaves and flowers is really intricate and very well done. What I really love about this are her eyes and her facial expression, her eyes are really pretty, and her raised brow and mouth show the seriousness of her situation, even with a helping lifeline, all in a nice animesque style. All in all, a great picture of her stuck, once again, in quicksand. :).
Thank you very much for this great, beautiful and thoughtful Christmas present, Yuppi, I really appreciate it, and I appreciate such a great friend as you. :D.

Well, a random poacher can get lucky enough sometimes to take Ember down, and where does Ember's luck bring her? Quicksand of course. ;)
Very nice style though, Ember's eyes and mouth are very expressive and look great in this, but the style also certainly gives her quite the rack ;). Great stuff! :)

Well everyone gets lucky now and then, especially with Ember's luck with Quicksand, and yeah, of course. ;).
Indeed, a very nice style, and I agree. her eyes and mouth look great and very expressive, and yeah, she is quite stacked in this style. ;). Glad you like it. :)

Wow. Poachers really came by to Nightshade Island. Though it is good that Ember gave them a "Special Welcome" To intruders who are up to no good ;). Tough whoever knocked Ember into that quicksand must have been carrying a golden horseshoe or something to actually do that. But at least Ember is getting recued by a very helpful catgirl :).
Still a really nice pic :). Really shows how quickly that quicksand was swallowing her ;). But it's also a great surprise to see Ember in her first style thanks to the flowers at the end of her vine wraps :). Quite the callback :D.

Yeah, they turn up in lots of places, though of course she does, gotta protect her island afterall. Heh, yeah, they definitely got lucky there. ;). Indeed, Ember is lucky in that regard. :)
Indeed, glad you like it. Oh, it definitely does show how quick it is, and yeah, her original outfit dies pop up now and then, a nice callback, as you say. :D
