I feel like it's been a while since we've seen Huntley Embers, and even parts of his story.

So don't take it at full face value.)
Something I revealed in many posts and illustrations is that much of the story that Huntley experiences is through AGNAR digging into his memories. Some of these of course being inaccurate, such as how he thought of himself as... Helmetless, and his suit of armor being way less detailed than it is. Never being able to get a real good at himself as this is more of an "accurate" portrayal of the suit of armor he stole and wore. So, if anyone ever wanted to see Huntley finally with a helmet? Here it is lmfao. As well as how his armor used to look like before he ascended into a Love-Bot in Cycle 10
We of course will probably see more of him *with* a helmet now though because I finally get to portray it a bit better. I've had small sketches of him with a helmet here and there, but it was nothing I really enjoyed. Some of it being a simple "RIOT" helmet or something similar or even full on having a classic science fiction dome or "Astronaut" helmet, but I really wanted something to remove most of his facial features. Transforming him into this "man of steel" and removing parts of humanity as he turns more and more into a machine through his journey. Something that is less than human, but pretty much uncannily adjacent.

I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.

Fun Fact: Really wanted to drive home the idea of his "helmet" looks similar to that of a mask, and even now- Huntley still hides most of his mouth and feels massive discomfort without a scarf covering half his face
