2023 Summary

5 years ago, I have discovered a lot about myself that I was too afraid to prior. The underlying fear was that I would end up disappointing my friends and family for expressing certain ways and holding certain ideals. But now I'm in an accepting environment that lets me express these things freely. And I get to encourage a new generation of blooming furs to make the same discoveries and think on the same hard questions. I'll be a part of history.



Next year, there are a few things I am looking forward to. Finishing projects, upcoming games, moving plans... But as far as resolutions go, I don't usually do that kind of thing, but this time I feel like it's important to set this one; I know I haven't been the best person to a few people, and I still feel a deep regret for letting my emotions getting the better of me and hurting others as a result; so my biggest resolution is to work on my mental health and fortitude, for confrontations of personal drama, and just for myself. Otherwise...well, the future remains a mystery.



This year, I have leaned heavily on huge sizes; pretty much decompressing myself and indulging in what's always accessible to me, what I can achieve, what I can express. And yet...My artistic abilities and motivation can't match up to my own ambitions. Not yet at least. I have gotten much praise for my artwork, but I know I can do better. So going forward, I'll keep pushing even more boundaries; build better anatomy, redraft as I see fit, dedicate more time and effort into my backgrounds whatever I need to do to fully realize my gift.



That's why it's called the present.
