Althalus is not in great shape, suffering from a spinal injury. He had to be doped up quite a bit for them to take the edge off the pain he's experiencing. First Vet didn't offer much hope, second veterinary clinic that had a neurologist gave a better prognosis. He'll be staying over night for the next couple days with monitoring and sedation. He'll need a lot of care once he comes home, but they say in a few weeks he should improve along with his mobility.

Edit: He's doing much better now, brought him home Friday night. He's regained quite a bit of mobility and vigor. It'll be a challenge to keep him from being overactive and possibly re-injure himself, but all the same we're very happy on how he's improved.
