You've got some keen eyes! And don't worry, Nick didn't suffer a horrific accident. I changed the character designs (which I should probably update on here) to not have tails for a couple of reasons. One of them was that pants and chairs made more sense this way. But mostly I forgot to draw them too often. Unrestricted views of Nick's well-sculpted glutes were also nice I guess.
