Here is the continent that serves as the setting of my Dragon Rider world, Draconis! Also made some short descriptions of each kingdom.
Human Kingdom: Located in central Draconis, the kingdom that many dragons call 'the Human Kingdom' is home to most of Draconis's humans, though humans are known to live in some of the other kingdoms as well. The Human Kingdom is the hub of Dragon and Human coexistence, and many dragons from the other kingdoms have moved here, making for a large diversity of elemental dragons in one area. This kingdom also holds many Dragon Rider guilds, as well as the Dragon Riders' main base in the capitol, Drakman City.
Fire Kingdom: The Fire Kingdom lies in midwestern Draconis, making up the chest and front claws of the continent. Being home of the Fire Dragons, this place is also home to many active volcanoes with rivers and pools of lava strewn across the land, accompanied by fire geysers. Though an inhospitable place for many other kinds of dragons and humans to live, the Fire Dragons like it just fine, and enjoy the heat and bathing about in the pools of lava. The Fire Kingdom's Volcano Palace is located in the northern part of the territory, and its flag features a Red Flame symbol.
Water Kingdom: The Water Kingdom lies in mideastern Draconis, making up the ends of the continent's wings as well as the surrounding sea. Most of the Water Kingdom is under the sea, but some Water Dragons make their homes on the archipelago's islands of beautiful sandy beaches. The Water Kingdom features many bubble jets and water arches, making for an even more magnificent scenery. The Water Kingdom's Undersea Palace is located in the middle of the archipelago deep beneath the water's surface. Its flag features a Blue Drop symbol.
Plant Kingdom: The Plant Kingdom lies in midnorthern Draconis, making up the base of the continent's neck. The Plant Kingdom is mostly forests and grasslands, with some lush jungles concentrated in the southern part of the territory. Many of the Plant Kingdom's forests are thick and dense, and can house plants that move as if they have minds of their own. Only a Plant Dragon can perfectly navigate these forests. The Plant Kingdom's Tree Palace is made around the biggest tree, located in the northern part of the kingdom. Its flag features a Green Leaf symbol.
Electricity Kingdom: The Electricity Kingdom is located in southern Draconis, making up the peninsula that is the tail of the continent. The environment of the Electricity Kingdom ranges from arid in the east to tropical in the west, with 'stones' charged with electricity floating throughout the land. The Electricity Kingdom receives the most thunderstorms of all of Draconis, and Electricity Dragons often come out during those storms to absorb lightning. The Electricity Kingdom's Thunder Palace is located near the end of the continent's tail, and its flag features a Yellow Bolt symbol.
Earth Kingdom: The Earth Kingdom lies in mideastern Draconis, making up the middle of the continent's wings. The Earth Kingdom is mostly rocky and craggy terrain with many mountains, with a few muddy bogs down near the sea. The Earth Dragons that call this place home make most of their dens in the mountain caves. The Earth Kingdom's Mountain Palace is located on the tallest mountain in the northeastern part of the kingdom. Its flag features an Orange Rock symbol.
Air Kingdom: The Air Kingdom lies in northeastern Draconis, making up the top of the continent's wings. The Air Kingdom is mostly grassy highlands where gentle breezes blow and small twisters are formed. However, up closer near the claws of the continent's wings, you'll find floating islands where some of the Air Dragons have chosen to make their homes. The largest and highest of those floating islands holds the Air Kingdom's Sky Palace. Its flag features a Violet Wind symbol.
Ice Kingdom: The Ice Kingdom lies in northern Draconis, making up the continent's neck. It is a cold, snowy tundra that only gets more and more frigid the further up north you go. Thick glaciers and snowy mountains line much of the landscape, and large ice spikes grow along the northern border of the kingdom like a dragon's spine. The Ice Dragons are the only ones who can live in this environment comfortably. The Ice Kingdom's Glacier Palace is located at the northernmost point of the kingdom, and its flag features a Cyan Snowflake symbol.
Metal Kingdom: The Metal Kingdom lies in midsouthern Draconis, making up the belly and hind claws of the continent. Much of the Metal Kingdom is stony cliffs where many metallic ores can be mined, and thick hexagonal pillars of pure metal, mostly iron, line the landscape. Metal Dragons dig around for ores every day, and these ores seem to grow monthly, even within mines that have already been cleared. The Metal Kingdom's Steel Palace is located within the center of the kingdom's claw, and its flag features a Gray Ingot symbol.
Light Kingdom: The Light Kingdom lies in southeastern Draconis, making up the upper tail of the continent. The Light Kingdom is mostly desert, giving it the most clear skies of the entire continent, so that the sun is bright during the day and the moon and the stars are most visible at night, where orbs of light also float about. The Light Dragons that live here don't seem bothered by the extreme temperatures and dry atmosphere this environment makes. The Light Kingdom's Sun Palace is located in the eastern part of the kingdom, and its flag features a White Star symbol.
Darkness Kingdom: The Darkness Kingdom lies in northwestern Draconis, making up the head of the continent. Much of the kingdom is shrouded by shadowy clouds, making so the sun is rarely visible. The environment of the Darkness Kingdom is mostly dark forest and swamps of liquid shadows that Darkness Dragons like to bathe themselves in. Underneath lies deep dark cave systems that ultimately lead to the Darkness Kingdom's Abyss Palace, located in the deepest darkest depths at the back of the continent's maw. Its flag features a Black Moon symbol.
Aether Kingdom: The Aether Kingdom lies in midwestern Draconis, making up the breath of the continent. The Aether Kingdom has only been recently discovered, having previously been hidden by a mysterious magical force powered by the Aether Dragons that live there, to protect themselves. The Aether Kingdom is the most rich in magical energy, making it actually harmful for other dragons or humans to stay for very long. The landscape is dotted with large magical crystals growing out of the ground, in the water, and around trees. The Aether Kingdom's Crystal Palace is located on the southern half of the kingdom, and its flag features a Magenta Crystal.
Human Kingdom: Located in central Draconis, the kingdom that many dragons call 'the Human Kingdom' is home to most of Draconis's humans, though humans are known to live in some of the other kingdoms as well.
