Basically, I was sitting in the sun drawing ponies at Dayborough until the combination of flowers and horses overloaded me with so much sugar that I vomited out this thing in maybe 30 minutes. Freehanded pen, no pencil, no eraser, just harsh black lines. Critique is appreciated.

Very, very, very nice penwork! The attention to detail with the features of his(?) face pull this sketch together for me.
I'm not sure if it was a stylistic choice of yours or not, but if there was one thing I'd nitpick about, it would be about the overall clarity of things. Some of the detail becomes lost in the sheer amount of lines and business of it all. Then again, it hardly feels fair of me to pick on that considering how fast you drew it!
Anyway, it's very well done indeed!

Clarity is definitely a problem when I am rushing through something like this, although that's hardly an excuse because if I'm actually concentrating I can do decently clear pictures with pencil in a similar time span, or at least, I used to, when I exclusively used pencil a couple of years ago. This must have looked like random flailing when I drew it!
Thankyou, especially for the cordial critique, it's much appreciated.

WOW! I used to be able to do this sort of sper of the moment pen work..
This is VERY good! Love the expression and detail! My only critique is minor...the sweep of the neck starts to make this a bit anthro or more humanoid and for me, the head is so "realistic' as a dragon, I would prefer to see it finished overall more lizard like. But that is very minor and I only say it cause you asked for critique.
