Cloth dryers have improved over the years, with the latest models using heat pumps to heat the incoming air and condense moisture from the outgoing air. But they are still based on the principle of heat-induced evaporation of water, so I wondered if other methods could be used. They are listed in the drawing with their advantages and drawbacks.
