Learning the ins-and-outs of a controller at a young age!
And here I am, an old fart that learned on mouse and keyboard, and loathes controllers. X3
(Then again, a bunch of younger folks nowadays apparently don't know what a controller is and go directly to touch the screen xD)

I mean, technically, I grew up on controllers (NES/SNES). However, the only games I prefer to play with a controllers are either strategy games, or 2D games like platformers or RPGs in that style (Stardew Valley, as an example).
Anything else that's in 3D, especially shooters... yeah, mouse and keyboard for me...
Unless I don't mind destroying the monitor/tv/controller; playing (and finishing!) Jurassic Park on SNES, as well as DOOM on SNES, and Resistance on PS3 made me fully realized that controllers are NOT my first choice with these sorts of games. XD
