The Bitoku Clan existed for a few years when the twins first joined it. But it soon became clear they were important players in the fight against the Cult of Euphoria.
Since their conception, the Cult of Euphoria both feared and referred a legend that was foretold. It was said that one day, two angel would appear before them, one clad in blue and one clad in white.
These angels would be sent to test the Cult's faith. They resonated with a light that could banish the Cult's darkness... but if harnessed, their light could be turned into unspeakable amounts of Lust to offer up to their gods.
As such, they awaited the day these angels arrived, making preparations to capture them and make them submit...

Riku and Hina had been together since they day they were born. Two beautiful, blonde twins that were inseparable thanks to their bond. One that may have been stronger than they realized.
Despite how close they were, however, they were incredibly different when it came to their personalities.
Riku was bold, always looking for a fight and she would never take nonsense from anyone. If someone bothered her, she wouldn't hesitate to pick a fight. This especially prominent when certain people eyed her for her beauty...
Hina was shy and reserved, but also intelligent. A kind soul who sadly has difficult standing up for herself. Instead, Riku always puts it upon herself to protect her dear sister.

The two lived mostly normal lives together. Both shared many interests in nerd culture and media. Both of them, even Riku, were massive geeks, interested in the culture of their own homeland of Japan.
Although Riku was rough, Hina somehow managed to help her push through school and the two of them would end up with well-paying job in an office building one day. Hina worked there as a secretary, while Riku worked there as a guard.
One day, Riku tried to stop a strange group of robed people from entering the building... but they soon took out bondage equipment. They weren't backing down, and while she demanded them to stop, she knew she couldn't stop that many people... especially when their intent was clear.
Instead, she entered the building and raised an alarm, but many of the robed figure had already entered and started capturing people.
Riku managed to find Hina in time, and with their combined brains and brawn, managed to puzzle a way out of the building and fight their way through the figures.
When they got outside, they ran, but were surrounded by another group.
They were rescued just in time by strange, feminine figures, however...
A woman clad in red, together with her team of kunoichi, beat up the cultists and brought the twins to safety.

The two were confused, but it didn't take long for the red kunoichi, Akemi, to explain.
They were the Bitoku clan, kunoichi who swore to stop the Cult of Euphoria and their quest for lust.
This Cult devoted their life to Asmodeus, who they believed would bring Euphoria to them if they pleased him.
For this, however, they captured people and put them through kinky rituals...

They had captured most of the Twins' colleagues and left the office building damaged. With the bad press that followed and the amount of money that repairing it would cost, the executives made the hard choice to file for bankruptcy.

The Twins were out of jobs and, even worse, their friends and colleagues were subjected to lewd torment...
They couldn't let that go unpunished. Akemi offered them to join their clan. Although slightly anxious, Hina could build up the courage to agree. Riku didn't hesitate anyway, she wanted to avenge her colleagues, and couldn't say no to a good brawl...
It felt like destiny, in a way... the two were of Japanese descent, and now they were about to adapt the teachings of their ancestors. Akemi would teach them many old techniques used by kunoichis of old.
And so, the decision was made...

The Bitoku's insignia hung proud on the banner against the wall as Akemi awaited her newest pupils.
As was customary, new members were allowed to choose their own kunoichi outfits to wear.
The clan had a wardrobe full of outfits for its members, including all kinds of hoods, a those were mandatory to prevent the Cult from recognizing members.
The wardrobe was mainly filled with skimpy outfits though. Leotards, swimsuit and the like.
Eventually, Riku and Hina came out in their new get-up.
Riku's high heels echoed through the chamber as her outfit shone in the dim light. A jacket to reflect her thug-like nature perfectly complimented the bikini she was wearing.
Although hers wasn't made of latex, Hina's outfit shone in its own right due to its white coloring.
"Why do these outfits have to be so revealing?!" Riku asked as she looked into the mirror, gazing at her revealed body.
"I know it's unconventional. But we have this standard for symbolic purposes. Wearing such clothing... it's a sign of your confidence and strength... a symbol of how you won't let your lust be consumed by the Cult. They'll have their eyes on the prize, that being you... but you won't let them have it and you won't let them force themselve on you." Akemi explained.
"That... makes sense, I guess..."
"Well, I think it looks great on you Riku!" Hina said. "You're like a real anti-heroine from those old how we watched!"
"You think so?" Riku aid with a smirk under her hood. "Well, you don't look half bad either. If you really want to talk about classic..."
Hina blushed a bit. "Well... I don't know... it's a little embarrassing..."
"Not any more than mine at least. Still, I guess if I have to get my point across, this dark bikini and jacket combo will get the job done..."
"You sure have a dominant posture at least!"
"And you an angelic one."
As the two talked, Akemi fell into thought when she noticed something.
Their outfits were perfect, that was for sure, but... somehow they gave her a sense of deja vu...
...Blue and white, where had she heard that before...?
...Regardless, she stood up.
"Now that you're geared up, I think it's time we move over to the next step. Are you ready for training?"
The two bowed. "Yes mistress!"
"Already showing loyalty... I have high faith in you two. Let us begin..."

After drawing my Cynthia pic for Karyu, I decided to turn back to my two main ninja girls and give them a slight redesign to better fit what I had in mind for them
And I have to say, I am really happy with how they turned out! I wanted to capture a certain feeling with them and I feel that this rework does that a lot better.
It's also just a nice way of redrawing the two now that I have improved after some time

Plus I took this chance to slightly go more in depth with their backstory
It's not much, but at least something!
I also realized that with what I did now, I kind of had to make thee two twins instead of just partners
You will see why when I post one of the alts
