Julie: Feral Red Fox
Place of Birth: England/Germany(?) (Circa. 1840s)
There are many rumors of how Julie came to power, the leader to a pack of enormous foxes, who terrorized and preyed upon both the people and livestock of Great Britain. It remains unclear how she consolidated power and brought the rest of the foxes into a single family, and only murmurings of those who had escaped a run-in with them referred to her as their queen. In truth, under Julie's leadership, the pack had claimed rightful ownership and birthright to a crown over Great Britain, a claim considered to be nothing more than a pompous lie that the foxes themselves never believed, and only ever intended to spark contest between themselves and the Royal Family, becoming a pretender royal family of the woodlands.
As many stories there are of her origins, there remains just as many of her demise and disappearance. What rings true is the account by those travelers and guardsmen who took the roads leading across the forest province the pack inhabited, accounts of their attacks and what would be done to those captured under Julie's reign. Unsurprisingly, being in the clutches and at the mercy of a gigantic fox is hardly a pleasant experience, as the possibilities one would have become quite creative...
Julie's methods were those of cruelty, prolonged captivity of humans captured, taunting and inspiring fear by toying with those for her own amusement, before either letting them free or devouring them whole. She passed these ideas of keeping captives as mere playthings and servants to the rest of the pack, and ensured they treated themselves at the expense of unfortunate travelers. Bartering for livestock to be let go became incredibly rare, the only exchange being those of human beings, prompting some to offer traveling companions as sacrifice to escape the forest.
Julie's final disappearance came as a relief to the people and crown, as attacks along the forest road quickly plummeted, and sightings of the vulpine family became quite rare, save for raids on livestock and infrequent disappearing travelers.
Stories remain to be told of Julie, as more becomes unraveled as to who she was and where she came from. She has quickly been understood as a very complicated person, and one that particular adventurers with particular contacts are still trying to figure out.

This one is Julie, who herself is another OC shared between me and a friend, who roleplayed with her quite extensively. Although she's mostly my creation, my friend tells me that the reception of her in roleplays was often 50/50, she was either loved or hated, and so I couldn't have asked for a more appropriate appraisal of her character.
