THE HIGH PRIESTESS/THE DEVOUT - meaning intuition, spirituality, and enlightenment; this card is fitting for the monk, one of the most karmatically balanced slugcat


i'll be honest, i did not have a lot of ideas for the high priestess. eventually i did catch on to the card's theme of being spiritually connected, and after a little bit of thinking, decided that monk would be a great fit for a card that, to me, is spiritually connected but isnt the spiritual card. if that makes sense? i added in a karma flower to emphasise monks connection to the karma system and set it in industrial complex to mirror survivor in outskirts
details:
-this is very specifically the industrial room near the outskirts gate
-karma flower was drawn like a bg element but given a cool glow like a character to give that otherworldly feeling (and also karma flowers glow in game)
-given the monk sigil because hell yeah monk and also it felt fitting to have it here.
-if you put magician and devout over each other you'll see that monk is smaller than survivor and that was very intentional
