Starting as a lost orphan in the Arctics, he would be found and adopted by a local village and raised as one of their own. He was clothed, fed, and got to meet people and make a few friends. It seemed life would go well for this little one until the army of badniks attacked his new home. People quickly gathered what they could and ran, leaving nothing else behind. This would lead to a scary cycle. They move to a less-than-ideal location, attempt to survive, badniks invade, and proceed to run toward a different area. Frode hated this.
He despised that everyone had to run whenever the big, bad egg army showed up to claim their territory. It was always having to flee to worse land and try to survive. He would grow to be a more bitter adult, complaining about the situation. He put a good portion of it on the Freedom Fighters. The fact they keep getting this close to putting that evil doctor down for good but let him slip away, allowing him to extend everyone's suffering. He felt hopeless and angered that no one else could make a difference in this world.
That would change when the village he was living in would be attacked by one person, Admiral. She used her powers and tech to shut down and take over the area, surprising him. Even with mere tools and ice magic, she could not be stopped, and all threats were eliminated, save for him. He approached her nervously and would be met with a glare for potential threats. He opened up about his plight, and she understood. She offers him a spot on her army and promises to help ensure the world is finally rid of the evil doctor, and help him teach those pesky Freedom Fighters a lesson.
Now he serves as the 5th member of the B-Class soldiers, and a good assistant to Admiral's scientist, Bombak! It took some time for him to adjust but he has gotten more happy and positive! The skunk treats him well and helps him enjoy new things like comic books, video games, and some science-related details. Bombak even made that backpack for him to help carry the ermine's stuff while protecting him by deploying mechanical arms with adjustable tips from grips to lasers. He is a nerd who can be quite a threat, so best watch out Freedom Fighters...
New Year, time to reveal the new boy, Frode! Yes, the same one from that story. ;) Originally it was going to be a one off thing, but my brain started cooking and liked the idea of making him an actual character with quite a story and cute personality. As well as be a replacement for Calder after he managed to escape the army.
