End of year, so let's go over how I've done and updating my top 5 of the year. And all things considered I'm not sure if I should find it sad that one of my favorites I drew in January. The rest were all August on. And in typical fashion for me so far it seems like what was the predominant feature of one year ends up almost non-existent in the next. 2021 was the year where I was using the fade effect brush stroke heavily to create a fur effect. 2022 I pretty much stopped doing that almost at all and instead worked on other things for shading. Instead, 2022 relied heavily on the symmetry function in some form or another. And now we get to 2023, where I only used it in 7 drawings (4 of which were the tf sequence with a bunch of frames). Instead, now 2023 was the year of backgrounds, where there are quite a few drawings where the backgrounds got almost as much time as the characters. Hopefully, though, I don't continue my trend and 2024 pretty much abandoned the use of backgrounds :P.
