This is actually a little sketchy from my pal
dyw14 who is showing my main characters Simon running from...
...something.
And that's where you come in!
Yup! It's an ART MEME!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to fill in the black to determine what Simon is running from.
It could be an angry spouse...
crazed, rabid fans...
a speeding car...
an explosion...
gun shots...
or... even an alien tentacle monster with questionable morals
And just because YOU may enjoy spending time with alien tentacle monsters with questionable morals, I can assure that Simon DOES NOT!
Rules are simple:
*Whatever you decide is chasing Simon must not (yet) have contact with him. No grabbing, gaping wounds, gun shots having already penetrated him, or anything that would immediately impede Simon's attempt at escape. Remember, the meme is "What IS Simon Running From" and not "What WAS Simon Running From".
*Macros are allowed, but any macros must be willing to only have their feet shown. This also counts for giant robots of the super or real kind. Scale WILL be considered here.
*Just because Simon's running NOW doesn't mean that you can't include something that may stop him (like running into a wall) in your submission. Just make sure that whatever it is that will stop him has YET to stop him in your entry.
*Be creative. Simon's a nosy guy that often sticks it where it doesn't belong. This can lead to lots of bad things. Hence, why him running away as fast as possible is not an altogether unreasonable scenario. Also, the best entries will not only be creative, but funny as well.
*You can add things to Simon. While Simon can't have anything to KEEP him from running, he can be carrying something, or have signs on him that would indicate WHY he is running. Say Simon was being chased by the 1985 NFL Cleveland Browns. Why would he be chased? Because he's got the football. :) Simon always has a reason for why he has something or is doing something... even if the reason is usually a bad idea. And even when it's with good intentions or with good cause, he doesn't always explain his attentions well enough to keep people from wanting to see his head on a pike. Keep that in mind.
*Finally, if there are enough entries into this, then maybe... just maybe... there'll be something special at the end of the month.
