so im going to go back to my roots a little bit. back in 2019 i made a 'Happy Russia Day' and a 'Happy Fourth of July' picture, so im deciding to do that with cuba, which is apparently on january 1st? embassy.am claims its on january 1st, but im also reading that its in july? it seems to be based off a revolution that happened from july to january 1st, but which day is it actually celebrated? maybe if any cubans are seeing this, maybe they can help clear that up in some way
i read that a new years tradition in cuba is to throw up dirty buckets of water to symbolise flushing out negativity for the new year to start 'fresh', so i drew that here too
i also included a little tocororo, the countrys national bird, as well!
