I know! I have read the Horus Heresy story in issue 268 of White Dwarf more than a few times, and I am now enjoying the novels as well.

It is at the very end of the Siege of the Emperor's Palace, after Horus was killed and the traitor legions had to flee the loyalist fleet that just arrived with the Space Wolves and Dark Angels legions, lead by Leman Russ and Lion El'Johnson.

"As he stepped aboard his ship, Angron turned and shook his fist at the glittering dome of the Imperial palace that had proved just out of his taloned reach.

Then he shrugged; he and his fellow rebels had all eternity to seek revenge. The Battle for Earth was effectively over, The Horus Heresy was ended."

I was gonna guess Kharne as well, since the books describe Angron as wearing a more "Gladiatorial" suit of armour more than the typical Mark Wahtevers the Primarchs wore.

It's a cool picture, suppose this was before Angron was promoted to Daemon Primarch and stood at over twenty feet tall when he marched into battle with his retinue of twelve Bloodthirsters at the first was of Armageddon.
He was of course struck down by Brother Captain Aurelius of the Grey Knights but unline Aurelius he remanifests in the Warp and will be back in a millenia or three.

Yes, finally...the moment where Horus fell and they all retreated, it is said that Angron cursed and balled a fist towards the dome of the imperial palace...then he just walked off and shrugged...they had all the time in the universe to come back some other day :b I just love that explaination XD
