Here's a sequence I'd completely forgotten about until I had a rummage through my old sketch box the other day. Drawn for
KurreltheRaven years ago during his Lamington Womble phase, this was originally posted on TransFur but lost in a shake-up involving fan-derived works, and thus unseen for years. So in honour of Bernard Cribbins and recently-late Wombles creator Elizabeth Beresford, here it is again.
It's surprising there aren't more Wombles in the fur fandom. Then again, since their gimmick was being tidy and putting garbage to good use, perhaps it isn't.

You know, I honestly hadn't heard more than a dim mention of the Wombles before you posted this... but now I'm glad you told me about them. Did you know there are Wombles episodes on YouTube? (To say nothing of the Womble truck, made from 21 different vehicles and running on chip fat and vegetable oil.)
Of course, enjoying fat characters as I do, I have a soft spot for Orinoco... whose "soft spot" is his middle.
