Just as a matter of clarity. When you say 'the lineart stage,' do you mean before any work has been done at all, or is there a sketch stage prior to that?

I doubt I would personally commission something and then go back on it at that point, but it's useful to understand.

There is indeed a sketch stage for commission work. the real time-consuming effort comes in play with Lineart and rendering, so it's only around the sketch phase that you can get a full refund. After that it's only partial.
