This picture reminds me a lot of some of your older ones and I have to say I like this style much better. The character seems a lot warmer to me than those that you draw with the kind of "shiny" look to it (sorry I'm not an artist, I'm not sure what the actual term is). Perhaps this is only my personal tastes, but I hope to see more work from you similar to this. Good work. ^^
