A little bit of T34, a little bit of M4 sherman, a little bit of M60 -er, patton I believe? Aaaand a lot of just toying around. This is the Barklie M11, the workhorse of the 309th Barklie's division.
yup, concept development for a potential furry war epic comic.

Yeah the M4 was easily one of the underdogs of the war, but we had so friggin many of them already, and they were easily enough upgrade to meet acceptable needs. Primarily it was the quantity over quality factor though. Personally, I just love how it had that "cute" look, *chuckle* just such a classic tank. T-34 and the King Tiger easily ruled the field however, and towards the end of the war, the Panther, man if those had been rolled out onto the field sooner, even the T-34 would have had a tough time, and the M4 would have been ruled obsolete.
The Panther and Sherman had the same bore, the Panther's simply had a much higher muzzle velocity, better armor, and a higher rate of speed.
The real shortcoming of the T-34 was that the Russians didn't put radios in them, no real way to coordinate.
My main beef with the Sherman is just one thing. It's nealry as tall as it is wide. That makes for a most inconveniently large target. Same as the Patton. The T-34 and Panther had a lower-slung, more efficient configuration.

Glad to see your back to making machines ^^ excellent work. The mish mash of diffrent machines makes an interesting concept. The chassis looks more like the Sturm Tiger and the turret definatley looks Sherman in origin. The cannisters in the back is a nice touch too ^^
