He’s a big inspiration for my sona. Him and the badger lords of Redwall.
If I could live in a story it would be Wind in the Willows. Didn’t care much for the Toad sections, but loved anything with Badger, Rat, and Mole.
And those animated films are quite lovely!

Oh most definitely. The chapter where rat and mole stay with badger overnight is my favorite chapter in the entire book.
There’s an excellent graphic novel done by French illustrator Michel Plessix that I cannot recommend enough! Beautiful art and full of wholesome humor.

That is a wonderful chapter, and one of my favorites too, along with "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn", which is disappointingly omitted in many modern editions of the book.
