Maybe it has something to do with my own upbringing,
but I'm always confused when the patient's parents come in and
then they start babying the patient like they're a five year old.
It becomes even more annoying when they start hassling staff because we refuse to baby them too.

It's just weird when we get parents harping on us rather than their FULLY ADULT child asking for something like a normal person.
Like your "kid" isn't a child anymore. Have them use the call light like everyone else and we will help them as soon as we can.
