As the lone fox explored the ruins
he came across a peculiar room, a room filled
with dark, viscous fluids and erotic carvings,
eager for a closer look, he braved the mystery
fluid, stepping boldly into it's murky hold,
the further he wadded the higher
it seemed to lap,
it was up to his waist, taking a moment he
reconsidered his choices, perhaps it
would be better to return, back
from where he entered,
so he sloshed and sploshed his way back,
though some how not making as much
forward progress as he had hoped,
exhausted he wiped his brow
and noticed his hand...
it was completely caked in the sticky, black liquid,
identical to what he was standing in, unnerved
by this he vigorously shook his hand around
in hope of dispelling the liquid,
but it didn't budge, in-fact it seemed to spread,
it was now up to his wrist...
so he tried wiping it on his chest which quickly proved to be a bad
idea, he cursed under his breath, now it was spreading about his torso,
"what is going on!" he yelled to the empty room...
