Wooooo! Just spent about a million hours figuring out how to run Superior Drummer and Reaper, which is a DAW that I'm all about right now. If you haven't checked out Reaper, you really should.
Anyway, this is a track I'm working on with my band. All drums are 100% unprocessed, as I said earlier, this was simply an exercise in running the new programs. Lemme know what you think!

kick needs some giiirrth....maybe some reverb on that snare too man...even still I'm jelly of your snare and overheads...Kick is the only thing that needs some attention.
Reaper is my weapon of choice too man....Its a nice minimal but powerful DAW
also your rhythm in this one is catchy and dope as fuck. o_o

hahaha for sure for sure. Reaper is the shit! Just the idea of a company that actually WANTS input from the consumers, and will consider changing things if enough people get behind the idea is progressive enough for me to like it. That on top of the fact that it's fully customizable to fit your own personal workflow makes me a happy fucking camper. FUCK PROTOOLS!!! hahaha

Drop this in your VSTPlugins directory (usually c:\steinberg\vstplugins ) and use the BassCompressor on your drum track. Tada, a kick drum that knocks out walls. Learn to use compressors on your kick drums for a longer, louder boom.
