I was told once again that a simple picture is better than no picture, so here it is! First art of the year, and I'm glad it's not a commission, trade or gift, and features one of my own characters.

One of the most disturbing things for me when posting OC art is the fact that i'm never totally happy with the result. It can always be better, more interesting, more refined. And even if it looks fine, I'm afraid that in a few months i'll come up with an EVEN BETTER idea for a design/plot point, and i will have to retcon something that has already been drawn. And GOD do i hate retconning.
But it seems now that i'm coming to temrs with my own brain, and some things in these stories will remain unchanged... At least for a while.

Hesitantly, I'm trying to do some clothing design for one of the cultures present in the story. I was aiming to make something different from generic european-ish look, and used scythians, mongolian archers and ivan the terrible's oprichniki for reference! Hope it gives off the right vibes.
