I know, it will be a challenge to bring in some texture to this, so that larger surfaces don't look too flat. Many things have to be tried out with this... and such little time for it right now <v<
And glad you enjoy the pirate vibe. Not entirely sure yet what this setting will do to my char's story. Also, I have no clue what a sloop is... care to explain? :o

Yeah, I guess start small for now or have a bigger piece you can work on and off in where you can develop the textures more, that way as well you won’t feel rushed with the small amount of time you currently have.
Yeah! Maybe he was banished to the island or something. And a sloop (depending on the type) is a somewhat small or medium sized ship often armed and has been used by pirates here in there in the more historical era haha

Aye, starting small is a thing I def have to consider going forward and there are so many designs I yet have to try out! Hmmm so much so much so much to doooo
