Often called "The Blackpelts" because of their use of inky brown camouflage, Lupinian Spetsnaz represent the elite of the Lupinian Naval Infantry. Their ability to infiltrate even the most crowded of battlefields and dynamically alter their tactics between stealth and kinetic actions make them among Corinth's most respected warriors.

Their refusal to harm civilians and non-combatants has cost more than one Spetsnaz operator his life, but it has forged a reputation of honor and courage matched by few other warriors ever to live. Among enemy nations, Spetsnaz are spoken of with a certain degree of reverence. Even among Lupinian-speaking nations, no other military organization has given their operators the title of Spetsnaz, out of respect for these soldiers.
