Luna..

I'm working on shifting my art collecting focus to pieces that more explicitly depict me and the experiences I'm harboring. That means including Luna in things.

Her name's not necessarily Luna.

This was one of my own drawings, a quick early attempt to visually depict what she appears like. Something to be able to reference.

Luna is self doubt. Self vilification. She's me, tearing myself down. Low self esteem, and echoes of the gaslighting of the woman who emotionally abused me.

Sure I 'hate' the things that Whimsy/Timber represent, but my disdain for Luna is significantly deeper than that. She won't be getting any celebratory art, but will still exist in my art collection so that I can express this part of myself also.
