Name: Fenric Shortpaw
Species: Jerboa / Kangaroo Mouse
Height: 0’6 ft (15.3 cm)

Realistic / darker size scenarios.
Fenric is a micro (although he would describe himself as normal and everyone else as freaks) kangaroo mouse who works as an electrical engineer at the ZT Mechanics Bay although he is known to moonlight (as an electrician during slow periods). He tends to be snarky and a little bit bitter but when engaged with his work gets the job done with rare enthusiasm and gusto.
Although he comes from a family of laborers (surprisingly common among r-type selection species), Fenric pursued and obtained a scholarship that allowed him to acquire a formal degree in electrical engineering. Not an simple feat, considering the rarity of size-independent education. Despite this, he would go on to struggle to have gainful employment (and also received little family support).
He was able to obtain a job as an electrician (although he interviewed for a managerial position), working for a construction firm due to his ability to (quite literally) run wires. Although he worked for multiple months overtime finishing a campaign to meet building regulations rather than pay him n acceptable wage the company instead terminated his employment (and attempted terminate him as well through the use of rodent traps on site) - and lack of concrete evidence of their wrong doing prevented any sort of legal retaliation.
Given this previous history it should be no surprise he has a substantial chip on his shoulder regarding cross-scale relations.
