A possible panel for the upcoming prologue to NLC. It's going to take a little while to finish all of these pages but hopefully once it's done it'll improve how the comic starts out. I'll keep posting sporadic updates along the way so it doesn't seem like I've stopped making artwork.
Originally I was thinking about trying to emulate the style of Chapter 1 to make the artstyle transition less jarring however I figured it would not age very well and feel forced. I'm hoping this prologue will kinda help give NLC a better footing to start off on and the Two Kinds style introduction a little less... problematic... Or at the very least get people curious about the story before switching it off because of the introduction.

While it would make it all look nicer with a remaster no I don't want to redraw it. Reason being it would take a massive amount of time and then the problem of 'where would I stop' would come into play as it would never be seamless between the remastered and original pages. If I tried to make it all seamless I'm afraid I'd end up redrawing the entire comic and then once that's done there's the potential my artstyle changed some more and I'd be more or less back to square one. Plus (at least to me) it's interesting to see how an artist changes over time.
