When you want to meet up with someone.. you might wanna let them know how tall you are first!
You're kinda small, y'know?
I unexpectedly stumbled into two fluffy critters at a small tech meetup (well, I mean, I didn't expect it), and it turned out one of 'em was friendly to size stuff, too! So, uh, I just had to doodle my first impressions... And it's my first time attempting simplistic animation.
qperfect - marvelous maned wolf, gentle giant, friendly fluff
Image caption:
A 3-panel animated comic with one large panel and two insets showing a maned wolf tapping their foot, only to discover in surprise that you - the viewer - are down by their tapping foot.
The top-left inset shows Quintus, an orange and brown-furred maned wolf, holding up a phone in one hand, staring at it while tapping their foot slightly impatiently. A mini-inset shows a texting app on the phone screen, with a message from someone else saying "See you at the park!" and a message from Quintus saying "Where are you?" that is stuck sending.
The middle main panel shows a ground-up view of Quintus's tapping foot, four huge (to the viewer) toes alternatively lifting up to let the grass underneath recover, only to thump down with dust clouds, over and over. This brown-hued tapping paw rises up along a brown-furred leg to the orange thigh and upper body of Quintus, cream-colored belly and cream-tipped tail along the way, with the maned wolf's face at the very top, peering at the phone in hand, seemingly oblivious to the viewer down by their feet.
The bottom-right inset panel shows Quintus having lifted their foot, brown ball and toe pads on full display as they splay apart their toes to peek down, relaxing them (presumably from the effort to splay), while smiling and saying "Oh, sorry! Didn't see you there..." They could be telling the truth, or they could be teasing...
