"Many of the times I always seem to leave my hat at home, and for some reason it usually surprises people when they learn I'm a "Magic User". Yes, I do carry around a two-handed sword and shield, but most of my combat really does come from me being a Scriptwright. Why would I ever bring harm to another when I know I can pacify them in some way? Granted, I still have steel for many foes that we face, but even then, I'm doing my best to hold myself back. My wife at the very least finds my Wizard Hat, "cute", but I think it can be annoying sometimes. Mostly thanks to the... Magical floating pieces of paper that circle around it and whap me in the face. You ever find it silly that most wizards don't even wear armor? Seems super dangerous to me, perhaps it has something to do with many of their big egos... " ~Thomza Materia

This is also... Strangely just a character talking about who they are in some way. I feel like I don't do that enough and have too many posts of the characters just talking about the lore and setting. With this it's mostly just a focus on some of Thomza's passing thoughts and well- it allowed me to redesign his helmet in some way lmfao. It used to be a jousting helmet, but it didn't make much sense for him to have one of those, it really shows up on their dragon form in a previous post... Thomza is a Scriptwright, a very specific type of magic that forces the universe to listen to him by pen and paper. So, I definitely wanted to add a Pheonix Feather and a faceplate to the wizard hat. Showing that he still fights extremely defensively and would rather *not* harm others.
Other than that? Just drawn well- for the fun of it- have a nice day everyone!
...Also really quick and I didn't know where to put this, but I thought of a pretty good joke. If Wizard battles are just two people yelling at each other, Scriptwrighting is like someone writing a mean message to you instead of shouting.
Disclaimer and Copyright: These characters involved, and the artwork belongs to me, TwistedHensley. The Skin to Scales Universe also belongs to me there, TwistedHensley... You get the drill. I want to point out that this is an Epic Dark Fantasy setting with a lot of mythological and religious tones and that there is no real-life connection to any of these events, religions, characters and it is fully, grounded, in fantasy. There is no copyright infringement also intended to other forms of media as Skin to Scales is meant to be its own thing and something I've been working on for a very long time. This is the same setting where faith is a massive part of the magic system, and it is usually meant to have a very bright and colorful art style to help balance the tone.
