A wip of a bull terrier that I've been working on between other projects. I finally finished his foaming last night (those ears took forever!) :)
Now that I have a few decent examples, I'm going to put up an auction for 3 foam heads starting at $75 apiece and going up depending on difficulty/what people would like included. I offered that deal before but I don't think I have enough exposure just yet to rely on my own advertising here on FA so auctions it is! :P
As for the "POLL"...
I kind of want to give this head stretched ears, but it also seems like I've been doing a lot of that lately. His huge ears just look like they'd work so well for them.
So, what do you think? Stretched ears (like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4940104/) or no stretched ears? What about other piercings? Make suggestions for interesting piercings, I bet I can find a way to do just about any piercing you guys come up with! Challenge me! >:)

I love gauges, but I'd really like to see you do them in a different sort of way!
The only good example I can scrounge up at the moment are these big-gauged foos http://www.furaffinity.net/full/5489688/ but something like that, where the ear lobe is actually stretched out (rather than just punching a hole on the inside of the ear, like the 'yeen has)

I've been thinking about doing something like that, but I've yet to figure out a species that I would want to use for it. Foos are perfect (those sketches are awesome!) but I don't want to take anyone's foothunder! Any suggestions for a species of animal or breed of dog with smallish ears that would work well for that? :)

as I understand it'd work for all species! You just stretch the 'lobe' of the ear instead of the inner canal like you've been doing. I could round-up a few more examples, but really her gallery is full of 'em. Wolf characters, dragon characters, and cat characters can have ears in this style. I don't really see how it could be a problem of species, considering that all species have a lobe

Hmmm.. I love the piercings on the hyena (of course ;3) but for some reason can't see it working for this head's shape. if you changed your mind, I'm sure it'd look great, but maybe do some type of earring going up his ear? Iko bought some binger rings (like these http://www.educationstation.esc2.ne.....20100%20ct.jpg) and used themfor the caracal's ears, which winded up looking great.

That's awesome! I'd love to see some pictures of the caracal with those rings to see how they look. And I'm doubly glad to hear you guys are liking your fursuits! :)

Hehe, sorry for all the spelling mistakes, I commented too early in the morning... XD Meant binder rings, but I'm sure you got that.
I'll pass the word to send some pics from one of our outings! I'm pretty surprised none of the kids were frightened, I've worn my other super cute toony tiger partial and made kids scream bloody murder, but when I wear death-punk-hyena with gauges and chains, everyone loves him. ^^

I love how cute he looks without piercings....
But if you plan on wearing it yourself, I love spiked earrings along the upper ridge of the ear, or the type of piercings with the chains and stuff that dangles from it. Maybe his character can be a softer sort of guy and not all hardcore/evil?

I'm leaning toward no piercings in the ears just because of how adorable his huge ears are. I think I'll design something with a ton of piercings next to make up for it. :P
