Subject k’Daridh is a vir, 77.35 years old, and was severely injured in Fleet action off the Terran world of Xinjia. Injuries included the loss of her left arm at the shoulder, part of her left ear, and internal damage to her left frontal and temporal cerebral lobes that have resulted in an increasing incidence of seizures. There was also some cosmetic damage to the left side of her face, left eye, and pharynx. Morphosurgery has corrected these.

Subject has resisted regeneration therapy when offered, expressing doubts as to whether her memory would be affected when the damage to her brain was repaired. However, the seizures have increased in severity and frequency despite the medication she is prescribed.

After consultation with five surgeons specializing in brain injuries, a treatment regimen of target therapy to the five specific areas in her brain was developed, with a 90% probability of success. The subject conferred with her family, and agreed to the treatment.

Subject k’Daridh was admitted to Surgical Clinic #734 on Shavma’ in the company of three of her brothers. After a final consultation, she was prepared for treatment. General anesthesia was administered and her body and head immobilized to make certain that the target areas do not move.

The five target areas were confirmed, and five 0.01mm holes were drilled in her cranium to admit passage of nanotubules. Regenerative gene therapy tailored for neurocytes was administered to all five areas, and physical damage has been corrected. After repair was confirmed, the nanotubules were withdrawn and the holes sealed.

Subject k’Daridh was moved to a private room to recover. After being updated regarding her condition and the outcome of the procedure, her family was allowed to stay with her. Evaluations of her memory will take place upon her awakening from the anesthesia.
