Togekiss and Ninetales. These two species probably aren't supposed to be crossed, right?
But Walela doesn't worry about what the world says she's supposed to do. She's a wild Pokémon, pushing sixty years of age in a centuries-long lifespan, and she's already seen everything the world has to throw at her. Don't let those playful eyes fool you. She's a beneficent, responsible steward of nature, and she is always there for her fellow wild Pokémon. Her name, which is Cherokee for 'hummingbird,' fits her desired role in life: flighty, unassuming, but ever so gentle and sweet.
That said: if you approach her while you're camping in the woods, she will probably steal your phone, run off with it in her mouth, and try to bury it. At the end of the day, Walela is still a fox.
This is the first of a series of character reference portraits I obtained over the winter! I'll move it to scraps eventually, but first, everybody can enjoy a look at this nice girl.
