Animation Commission 3 - Walpurghg
Yup. Another. 10 hours to make. Commissioned by
Walpurghg once more. Thought he'd be tired of me by now.
He asked me to do a remake of a particular anime scene including a whole bunch of characters in his comic (https://pmdholdstill.thecomicseries.com/). Funny enough, he ran out of characters for this one, so I included Rappit the Aipom as a stand-in for one of them just because.
I didn't include any other characters. If you think I did, then you must be seeing things.

This one's based off some anime footage of somebody getting surrounded by peers and friends, all with disturbingly monotonic and moderately fake emotions, all congratulating him one at a time in perfect order and synchronization. Thought somewhat heartwarming, I thought it was quite disturbing.
So naturally I agreed to give it a go, mainly because it involved a fair bit of lip syncing, which is something you'll notice I prominently DON'T do in my animations and should probably remedy.
Also money. That is a nice thing to have sometimes.
Believe it or not, I synced it to the audio from the original source. Will probably upload it to Youtube and post a link or something later so you can hear it. Whether you want to or not, though, is entirely on you.
