Silly cat went for a 10 min ride in it. If the thumping hadn't caught my attention, it wouldn't have ended well. Opened the door and out hopped the cat, unfazed by the whole experience.
Given the cat was very dark in color, she wasn't spotted while Mom loaded the dryer. After that, we physically check for cats before loading and before turning it on.
