I ran up the hill. Celezeth, Topaz, Samantha and Demetri quickly followed me. We weren’t going to make it in time. I looked at the timer, 3…2…1. I looked over to the city. "DAMN! NO!" I screamed. A blinding, terrifying light dominated my vision for several seconds. Once my vision cleared, I saw the cloud that brought horror spilling into me…the have them, the weapons of mass destruction…the apocalypse was upon us.
